Our Policies

We make every effort to ensure that your visit with us goes as smoothly as possible. The information provide below is provided for that purpose. Please do not hesitate to call us if you have questions or concerns that are not outlined here, or need further information. We look forward to seeing you!

We make every attempt to see urgent care cases on the same day that you call our office; however, there are certain instances and injuries that require emergency room care and/or hospitalization. If you need emergency care outside of our operating hours, GO DIRECTLY TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM or DIAL 911 for an ambulance.

Initial Visit

In order to ensure that we have all the pertinent information on your insurance coverage, please be sure to bring your insurance card and a photo ID with you to your first appointment with Dr. McLean.   If you have any questions about your first visit, please call our office in advance of your appointment.

Your insurance may require a referral from your regular doctor in order to see a specialist such as Dr. McLean. If so, you’ll need to obtain that referral before your appointment.  Otherwise, we will have to reschedule, or you can choose to pay out-of-pocket for the appointment (versus filing on insurance). In that instance, no referral is necessary.

You may pay with cash, check, debit card, or Visa/MasterCard/Discover. If filing on insurance, we will collect your co-pay and other fees not covered by insurance.  If you’ve been in an accident, most insurance companies require an accident report before they will pay for services. We’re happy to file on your primary and secondary insurance.

Canceling / Rescheduling

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please call the office as soon as soon as possible. We ask that you make every effort to let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment.   This enables us to offer that time spot to another patient, and provides us more opportunities to treat urgent care patients.
