Meet Dr. Mike McLean

Orthopaedic Specialist and SFA Devotee

Dr. McLean specializes in arthroscopic repairs of the knee joint and shoulder. This procedure involves inserting a small camera instrument (about the size of a pencil) into the knee joint or rotator cuff. The arthroscope then sends the image to a television monitor, guiding Dr. McLean throughout the procedure.

This is particularly good news for knee-injury patients, since this minimally-invasive approach allows most of Dr. McLean’s patients to go home the same day, and typically walk without crutches within 3 to 4 days.
